About this project

Public Grievance Management System (CivicResolve) is a web-based mini project developed using Python Flask, SQLite, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. The application provides a centralized digital platform for citizens to register complaints, monitor grievance status, and manage public service issues through a user-friendly interface.

The system includes a modern responsive landing page, secure user registration and login, personalized dashboard, grievance submission, complaint tracking, searchable grievance records, administrator status updates, and profile management.

Users can submit grievances related to public infrastructure, sanitation, water supply, roads, electricity, and other civic concerns. Each grievance can be tracked through its status, helping demonstrate a transparent and organized complaint management workflow.

CivicResolve is suitable for VTU 5th Semester BCS586 Mini Project students from Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) and Information Science and Engineering (ISE).

The project package includes Python Flask source code, a mini project report from Abstract to References, an editable presentation, and project-specific interface screenshots.

Note: CivicResolve is an educational prototype and is not connected to any official government grievance portal or public authority.
