A budget tracking web app to record income and expenses, set monthly category limits and view spending summaries with over-budget alerts.

What you need

Python 3.9 or above, pip, any modern web browser (Chrome / Firefox / Edge), VS Code or PyCharm (optional). Windows, Linux or macOS. 4 GB RAM.

How to run this project

Download and extract the ZIP. Open a terminal in the project folder. Run pip install -r requirements.txt Run python app.py Open http://127.0.0.1:5000 in your browser.
