About this project

Disaster Relief Resource Management System (ReliefGrid) is a web-based mini project developed using Python Flask, SQLite, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. The system is designed to demonstrate how disaster relief activities, emergency requests, resource inventory, shelters, and volunteers can be managed through a centralized digital platform.

The application provides a modern responsive landing page, secure user registration and login, an operational dashboard, relief request management, resource inventory tracking, shelter capacity monitoring, volunteer information, and user profile management.

Users can create relief requests, assign urgency levels, view available resources, monitor shelter occupancy, and update request statuses. The dashboard provides an organized overview of important relief management information.

ReliefGrid helps students understand full-stack web application development, database management, authentication, CRUD operations, and resource coordination workflows.

This project is suitable for VTU 5th Semester BCS586 Mini Project students from Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) and Information Science and Engineering (ISE).

The project package includes Python Flask source code, a mini project report, a presentation, and interface screenshots.

Note: This is an educational demonstration system and is not connected to official disaster management authorities or real emergency dispatch services.
